Today Atari and GameCock Media Group have announced that Legendary: The Box will be shipping this summer for Microsoft's Xbox 360, PC and Sony's Playstation 3 Platforms.

Currently in development by Spark Unlimited [Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, Call of Duty: Finest Hour] Legendary is a first person shooter where man and beast collide in epic proportions.

Mathias Hautefort, Executive Vice President of publishing and production, Atari commented;

“This exciting and original title takes the lead in our Atari Shooter line up. Producing a game of this quality and scale is a major undertaking, but the highly talented team at Spark Unlimited is more than up to the job.”

Craig Allen CEO of Spark Unlimited added;

“This is the project we want to be working on and it’s shaping up to be something amazing. Legendary is the type of game we want every gamer, regardless of system allegiance, to get the chance to play. We’re taking our time to ensure optimum performance, regardless of platform.”
