No Hard Drive, No Online Burnout: Paradise

Some XBOX 360 owners will be disappointed to know that a hard drive is required to play Burnout: Paradise online. Anyone who picked up the XBOX 360 Arcade Package or the now-deceased XBOX 360 Core Package will have to fork out for a hard drive or make-do without the online service for the high-flying racer.

Burnout: Paradise does what it says on the tin...

An EA support representative has said that the XBOX 360’s memory cards aren’t big enough to hold the temporary storage space required for the online play. This isn’t the first time a hard disk drive has been needed for online play because titles such as Crackdown and Final Fantasy XI also require a hard drive.

Are you one of the unlucky few who aren’t able to play Burnout: Paradise online? Leave a comment with your thoughts.

Does that mean in theory that if you had used all the space on your hdd you couldnt play online either? or does it store temporary memory somewhere else?

it depends on whats is on it if its game content then you might have to buy the 120gig hard drive if you have that one you need to sort your stuff out as there might be stuff on there you don't play anymore... just remember you can always redownload the stuff from download history without paying for it again
