Gears of War 2 Details Emerge

First details of the official Gears of War prequel have emerged in book form. Gears of War: The Pendulum Wars - The Battle of Aspho Fields is the title of the book which is being written by Steven L. Kent. After the two rumoured release dates by Amazon and Amazon UK, it seems this could be the first official details.

The blurb (the text on the back) says that the book "builds upon the characters backstories and gives eager fans their first in-depth look at some of the past events that shaped the games world." Gears of War: The Pendulum Wars - The Battle of Aspho Fields is not out till August so it’s likely we’ll hear some news before then so stay tuned to Console Monster.

Still not really much to go with GOW2, i would of thought the rumor mill would be in overtime by now if they plan for it to be out by Xmas this year.
