What a year for gaming. It’s nearly the end of October and we have seen numerous amounts of successful games released already. From Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row 2, to FIFA 09 and Rock Band, this year has truly been kind to us. But the year isn’t out yet. In fact there are so many good games still to come out, it’s hard to figure out which games you are going to buy.

So to help you out, we have provided you with trailers and info of the top games that have still to be released this year in what we call, ‘The Most Wanted List’. You will have to select your games wisely though, as to purchase all 10 games below would cost you a staggering, and with the credit crunch, £504.90. Enjoy!

DEAD SPACE – 24/10/08

First on our list is Dead Space. Dead space is set to be released on 24/10/2008.

Game Info: In the future, Earth’s appetite for resources has become a major motivator for deep space exploration. Immense, privately-owned and operated mining ships (called ‘planetcrackers’) orbit planets and use sophisticated equipment to carve out entire city-sized chunks of rock, and reduce them to component elements and raw ore.

FAR CRY 2 – 24/10/2008

Far Cry 2 is one of many FPS games to be included in our list. Scheduled for a 24/10/2008 release, Far Cry 2 is definitely one to look out for.

FALLOUT 3 – 31/10/2008

Fallout 3 is the next game to be released in the build up to Christmas, and it should be with us on 31/10/2008.

LEGENDARY – 31/10/2008

Legendary is another game that might tickle your fancy. Due for release on 31/10/2008, Legendary has plenty of cometition in the FPS genre.

Game Info: Legendary tells the story of Charles Deckard, an art thief who is duped into stealing Pandora’s Box. When he inadvertently opens it, he releases hordes of beasts thought to be fictional – such as werewolves and gryphons – into an unprepared modern world. A full scale war between man and myth begins, and it is quickly complicated by the actions of powerful secret societies. GUITAR HERO: WORLD TOUR – 14/11/2008

GEARS OF WAR 2 – 7/11/2008

Gears of War 2 is probably the most wanted game of 2008, behind Grand Theft Auto IV. Due for a 7/11/2008 release, this is a must have, and people should make every effort to afford this game.

Call Of Duty: World At War has a major task in hand. Any game that was to follow Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare had a hell of a challenge ahead if it. But we shall see on 14/11/2008.

Mirror’s Edge from EA is the first of its kind in this new generation of gaming, and I’m sure many people will be wanting to try this free-running game out. However, with a 14/11/2008 release date, EA will have many other games to contend with.

Need For Speed Undercover may well be EA’s last chance at returning to the good old days of Street Racing. With a 18/11/2008 release date, surely you will make some extra cash for Need for Speed?
