Xbox 360 kiosks rollout to stores across the UK

If some of you are having a small case of deja vous don’t panic as it’s just the beginning of the European Xbox360 Hype Meter turning up a notch. Microsoft have announced the roll out of over 1,000 Xbox 360 Kiosks to retail outlets across the UK.

Just like in the States, the Kiosks let you have a go with key launch titles including Rare’s ‘Kameo: Elements of Powerâ„¢’, Activision’s ‘Call of Duty 2’ and Ubisoft’s ‘Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie’. And so that you can appreciate the high definition graphics, each console in the kiosk will be connected to a Samsung HDTV-capable LCD screen.  Lets all hope they are hooked and setup properly this time round.

Before you cry out ‘where can I get my hands on one?!’ good old MS have created a little application to help find out the nearest retail outlet to you that has a playable Xbox 360 Kiosk.

So if you can’t attend the 4 events that are currently doing the rounds up and down the UK and can’t wait till 2nd December to have your first play, simply check out the website and enter your post code to find a location nearest to you.

If the application fails to find you a store (which it has for me) Microsoft asks us poor people to come back and try again next week, as they plan on rolling out many more Xbox360 Kiosks nationwide.
