Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii Release Dates Confirmed

Nintendo has confirmed the release dates of Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii. Wii Fit will “board” up and be released in the UK on the 25th April. When Wii Fit is inserted into the Wii Console, the Wii Fit Channel will automatically install which records personal fitness data on daily basis. American gamers will receive Wii Fit on the 12th May, which is quite surprising since the majority of games are released in America before the UK.

Mario Kart Wii will be released on the 11th April and comes bundled with the Wii Wheel but the game will provide five different control options including the Wii Wheel, the Wii Remote (on its side), the Wii Remote and Nunchuk combination, the Classic Controller and the Nintendo Gamecube controller. Like Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii will also come with a new Wii Channel called the Mario Kart Channel which monitors player’s ranking against other players as well as allowing access and sharing Ghost Data with other players.

So, write it in your diary and start saving for two games which will revolutionise the already revolutionary Wii.
