A preview of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts on IGN may just have confirmed previous rumours of a motion-sensing controller for the Xbox 360. About 4 minutes into the video previewing Showdown Town, Ken Lobb, Creative Director at Microsoft Game Studios, says: “You basically grab with the wrench, and twist the controller around.”

Is it just a simple error or is Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts playable with a new motion-sensing Xbox 360 controller?

*Update*

It seems yet another rumour has been busted. Microsoft has stated: “There is no truth to this speculation. Ken’s comment is in reference to rotating the left analogue stick while hitting the X-button to move different things in the game.”
