Ubisoft To Publish FFXI

Today popular video game publisher Ubisoft, announced that along with Square Enix, they will distribute the upcoming MMORPG Final Fantasy XI on the Xbox 360 within all PAL territories.

The game takes place in the renowned world of Vana’diel, and with several online methods now available including Xbox Live, the game world will now be a much more livelier place to visit.

Alain Corre, from Ubisoft commented:

“Ubisoft is thrilled to offer the Xbox 360 its first MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI is a gorgeous game with a true innovative feature: Xbox 360 players can join Playstation®2 and PC gamers in the Final Fantasy universe, thus creating a unique interaction between different platforms.”

The game is due out this month.
