The newly-announced Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will not include multiplayer, Ubisoft has announced.

Speaking during the publisher’s FY15 earning call on Tuesday, May 12th, 2015, CEO Yves Guillemot said: “This game will be single-player. We don’t know and we can’t say yet. We know but we can’t say yet about what will happen next.”

He continued: “You don’t have a multiplayer mode on this iteration because we want to spend all our time on making sure the single-player is excellent and it’s coming along extremely well.”

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate launches on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Friday, October 23rd, 2015.
