Titanfall – Respawn has ‘started kicking players’, more bans incoming, server patch this week

Titanfalldeveloper Respawn Entertainment is gearing up to act on a number of incoming players bansin hopes to root out cheaters and “aimbotters”, while the studio’s engineering team prepares a Titanfall server patch for later this week.

Reports of cheaters using malicious software that violates Titanfall’s code of conduct are appearing more frequently amongst PC community members within only one week of launch. Luckily, the studio has taken note of the concerns and is now acting upon its earlier promise to root out these unsavory individuals.

“Curious about anti-cheat/hackers? We have started kicking players and more will follow,” wrote Respawn in a recent Twitterupdate.

Similarly,Jon Shiring, an engineer at Respawn, has assured a number of his followers that anti-cheat will be enabled soon. “This is important to us,” he said.
