Survival Pack released for the Horde

Left 4 Dead’s free DLC finally released this morning. Dubbed the ‘Survival Pack’, the free 101mb download includes a brand new mode called Survival.

During Survival mode you can choose any of the current maps plus the new maps to set up camp and fight the horde. You are timed and the longer you hold the horde off the better medal you get. These last for around 10 to 15 minutes and are insanely fast paced. During my play this morning we had 3 tanks one after the other attacking, pretty insane.

The pack also adds Dead Air and Death Toll to Versus mode. You can find a full list of updates and changes here.

You can download the Survival Pack right now from the Marketplace.

Note: If you do not receive a title update when loading up left for dead then please try logging onto a different account and downloading the update that way or clearing the cache on your Xbox 360.
