Rory McIlroy PGA Tour will not feature Augusta National Golf Club at launch

Rory McIlroy PGA Tour will not feature the renowned Augusta National Golf Club, the game’s publisher has confirmed.

Speakign to Polygon, an EA spokesperson said: “Our license with Augusta National has expired and it does not currently appear in EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour.

“However, we will continue to examine opportunities to include this world-class course in the game.”

According to a tweet from the series’ official account, EA is “exploring” the possibility of adding the golf club as post-launch downloadable content.

Rory McIlroy PGA Tour is in development on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
