A remastered version of Gears of War is in the works, according to reports.
Sources told Polygon that the Xbox One re-release will include “updated visuals and reworked cutscenes, courtesy of animation studio Plastic Wax”.
Rumours of a remastered Gears of War bundle were played down by Black Tusk studio head Rod Fergusson, though he confirmed that the studio was “working on other exciting Gears projects”.
Gears of War was originally released on the Xbox 360 in 2006.
