Pinball FX 2 will launch on the Xbox One at the end of the month, Zen Studios has announced.

The title will release with “nearly” the entire library of existing Pinball FX 2 tables, including all the Star Wars and Marvel content. Further tables, including The Walking Dead table, will be available at a later date.

New features listed include 1080p, 60 frames-per-second gameplay, worldwide tournament, new achievements and a new menu interface.

Disappointingly, there will be no option to import tables you’ve already bought on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

Mel Kirk, VP of Publishing at Zen Studios, said: “With the release of Pinball FX 2 on Xbox One, we have closed the loop and can now offer our fans a complete virtual pinball experience, regardless of their system preference.

“We’ve got a lot of great things planned for the newest generation of consoles when it comes to pinball, so stay tuned for some awesome new stuff from Zen Studios.”

The Xbox One version of Pinball FX 2 is set to release on Thursday, July 31st, 2014.
