Pac-Man Worldwide Tournament Announced

Published On April 20, 2007 | By Console Monster | News

While Microsoft’s other Xbox Live Tournament may not be going quite to plan, it hasn’t stop the big M from announcing another Worldwide Tournament this time to sort the men from the boys in…Pac-Man.

Registration for the tournament opens on April 25 over at, yes you guessed it, www.xboxlivetournament.com. The top players from around the world will be invited to compete in the finals in New York on June 9th. The overall winner will be crowned by Toru Iwatani, the creator of Pac-Ma. The overall winner will also recieve 100,000 MS Points (£850) and a unique Pac-Man inspired Xbox 360 console.

But best of all, the overall winner will recieve 26 years of free Quiznos toasted sub sandwiches (one per week for 26 years worth over £6,750). Nope, I’ve never heard of Quiznos either, but apprently they do have stores in the UK. If anyone spots one, feel free to send in a picture.
