The raw meat, of course, is the recently released Resident Evil 5, and since getting their filthy, salivating lips around it, they just keep on coming. The demo, released exclusively to Xbox Live Gold subscribers on 26th of January, was met with rapturous success with over 1.3 million downloads in its “limited release” period.

Shouting forth its glory from the Xbox Live podium, Resi 5 takes its gameplay to gamers on a global scale.

Released to all Xbox Live members on 29th January, the demo has just reached the end of its first week in the shark tank and has tallied up downloads of over 1.8 million, setting an unprecedented new record for Xbox Live demo downloads.
