It’s looking bleak for the Cheif, as recent rumour trawling the web suggest that the next installment of the multi-million selling Halo franchise may not surface on the Xbox 360 until 2007!
This news apparantly comes from sources close to Microsoft, although the company have yet to release an official statement on the matter. Bungie have also failed to comment.
Internet speculation has put this delay down to wanting to tie in with the release of the 2007 Halo movie, which will have ties with the game and storyline.
On another note, it is worth noting that tomorrow is the horrid Internet festival, April Fools, so it’s best to take this news with one big pinch of salt, until we hear official word from the top!
