New "general manager of the Xbox Division" for Japan

New “general manager of the Xbox Division” for Japan

Yoshihiro Maruyama the general manger of the Xbox division for Japan has been replaced by Takashi Sensui. Yoshihiro Maruyama was considered to be the J Allard of Japan but sadly it doesn’t look like things have been working out and he has been moved to a “strategic position” in Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices Division.

Taking his place will be Takashi Sensui, a former director of the marketing department and content group for Xbox Japan. With Xbox 360 having a very bad takeoff in Japan Sensui is confident things will get better. Let’s hope so and maybe we can get some good Japan games developed for the 360?
