Multi-Format Charts

With another week comes another weekly chart. Which games have climbed to the top of the victory tree and which have fallen from gamers’ good graces in the same way that Skate 2 has descended from the heavens. It has been a turbulent week in the world of gaming, so how does the chart look?

  1. Wii Fit (Nintendo)
  2. Call of Duty: World at War (Acti-Blizz)
  3. Skate 2 (EA)
  4. Fifa 09 (EA)
  5. Lord of the Rings: Conquest (EA)
  6. Wii Play (Nintendo)
  7. My Fitness Coach (Ubisoft)
  8. Mario Kart Wii (Nintendo)
  9. Tomb Raider: Underworld (Eidos)
  10. Professor Layton (Nintendo)

Apparently there are still people feeling a need to shift the post-Christmas bulge with Wii Fit topping the charts. Seemingly they are also still feeling an urge to shoot Nazis and Zombies on Call of Duty: World At War, but then again, don’t we all? The newly released Skate 2 has managed a respectable 3rd place taking home the bronze and the omnipresent football game hugging the upper echelons of gaming power this week is, again, Fifa 09 coming in fourth.

About The Author

Sam has been unable to peel his bloodshot eyes and RSI-ridden wrists from the world of gaming since he was first introduced to it, like all good junkies, by his Grandad. From those early days of MegaDrive sweetness, bashing through the throngs of enemies on Shining Force II, his love of all things games has extended upwards and outwards onto a variety of platforms. You can either believe that spiel, or get the real scoop and know that his spaceship actually crashed here some years ago and he is currently incognito as a games writer for Console Monster.
