More songs and Hayley Williams in Guitar Hero:WT

As Activision closed their “not-E3” conference, we got to see more information on Guitar Hero: World Tour. Proving that since they can get Slash for an on-stage performance for Guitar Hero 3, they can get anyone. Neversoft brought out not one, but two stars of rock to show off the game. First up was ex-Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, who we already know will feature in the game, to show off the drums. Then, the petite frontlady of Paramore, Hayley Williams, took to the stage to big up the Guitar Hero series and inflate the developers ego, as well as to announce she will feature in the game.

Thanks to the demonstartion we can also tell you a few more songs that will be featuring in the game. The developers demoed the game with Van Halen’s track, “Hot For Teacher”. Thanks to the in-game menu music we can also confirm: Smashing pumpkin’s “Today”, Paramore’s “Misery Business” and Beastie Boy’s “No Sleep ‘Til Brooklyn.”

We’ll have more information on the songs and other guest stars in the game as we get it.
