Microsoft surprise us with three Xbox Live Arcade releases

Quite surprisingly, three Xbox Live Arcade titles have been added to the Marketplace, rather than the one we expected. MLB Stickball is joined by Shadow Assault/Tenchu and Beat’n Groovy though there are a few availability issues. MLB Stickball is only available to gamers in Canada and the United States; Beat’n Groovy is available in all Xbox Live Regions with the exception of India and Shadow Assault/Tenchu is available in all regions.

In Shadow Assault/Tenchu, players control your favourite characters as you use a variety of ninja weapons to defeat your enemies and complete your missions. Use traps in multiplayer mode to kill your friends for massive points. The achievements for the game can be found here.

Beat’n Groovy is a music-rhythm game in which you play as one of seven characters through a collection of music that spans many different genres such as electronic, instrumental, and pop. The game contains Xbox Live Vision Camera support. The achievements for the game can be found here.

All three titles are 800 Microsoft Points and a free trial of all three is available to download. Will you be picking up any of the three? Leave us a comment with your thoughts.
