Microsoft officially unveils Xbox One S

Microsoft has officially unveiled the Xbox One S – a slimmer version of the Xbox One.

The Xbox One S was officially announced by Phil Ferguson during Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

The console is 40% smaller than the existing console, incorporates a 2TB hard drive, a 4K Ultra HD video, a High Dynamic Range and a streamlined controller. The slimline console will also be able to stand vertically.

Available in August 2016, the Xbox One S will launch at $299.
