EA LA today confirmed that they are indeed working on a new Medal of Honor for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 as well as PC, Xbox, and PS2. The new title, Medal of Honor Airborne, puts in you charge of Boyd Travers who is a Private First Class of the 82nd Airborne Division. The game will feature a brand new system in which you will be able to take full control of your drop. You will be able to find your own drop point on the ground. Once you’ve landed, the game will be completely Free Roam, so you won’t be following a linear course through a level. The game will feature Sicily, Europe and Germany. As always, EA’s authenticity will be kept to give you the ultimate War zone experience. EA rekon that by choosing your own spawn point (drop zone) you’ll be able to completely change the way the battle will progress. MOH: Airborne is due for release in Winter 2006.
