EA yesterday revealed the new boxart for the distant Madden NFL07. The player who will be seen on the new game is running back Shaun Alexander. It seems he was chosen to be on the cover as this years game will focus heavily on the running game.
With over six million copies of Madden 06 selling worldwide it’s no surprise to hear that Shaun is well chuffed about being on the cover. He stated – “To be on the cover of Madden NFL 07 is a big milestone in my career since I have always been a huge fan of this franchise, EA SPORTS is focusing on the running game in this year’s version, so I was honored when I was chosen to be on the cover to represent the improved running game.”
