Gamers without HD TV’s found that some of the text in Capcoms zombie fest Dead Rising was simply unreadable. It was almost as if Capcom forgot that there were such things as non-HD TV’s.
Well Capcom today announced that a patch for the problem was simply not possible. They said the following – “Due to the amount of text and the size of the patch necessary to change the text, a patch isn’t possible for this issue. We had asked the team if it was even possible but … due to the scope of what a patch would need to cover, it wasn’t possible.”
So there you have it, if you want to read the text you will have to buy a HDTV, or you will simply have to live with it.
