After all the tales rife in recent news of games companies having to axe staff and reporting losses, from PopCap games comes a refreshing upset to this trend. Battling through the current economic crisis, PopCap have reported a leap in sales of 85.3%.

Excellent news for PopCap, currently bathing in jewels and riches.

With games such as Bejeweled 2 and Zuma already inhabiting the hard drive of many an Xbox 360 owner, this massive expansion in success is even more pertinent, with PopCap announcing that a range of their casual games will be making their way onto the PSN.
