Logitech announce 360 remote

Logitech have announced the Harmony® Advanced Universal Remote Control for Xbox 360. Not only will it be able to control your Xbox 360 but it can also be used for your TV, Media Centre, amplifier and other devices.

With one push of a button, the remote can turn on your Xbox 360, TV, and surround sound system. It will also turn off any devices that will not be used.

Users can customize the remote with an online web interface wizard. You select the supported infrared devices from a list and the wizard will download the codes from Logitech’s comprehensive online database. With more than 100,000 different devices models from more than 3,000 different manufacturers you have a great chance it will support your devices.

The Harmony for Xbox 360 remote control will be available in the U.S. in late November with a suggested retail price of $129.99.
