Rare recognised that Grabbed by the Ghoulies might not have been their best of titles by putting the game in bins within Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, but today sees the release of the Xbox title on the Xbox Live Marketplace as an Xbox Original.

The title weighs in at a hefty 3GB and is available for 1200 Microsoft Points. The dashboard description reads:

GAME-PLAY ALERT: This game has been fully tested to successfully play on your Xbox 360 console. However, in some cases, you may see some minor irregularities with audio/video for brief periods. For more details, see www.xbox.com/xboxoriginals. Take on the role of Cooper, a kid on a mission to rescue his girlfriend, who has been “grabbed by the ghoulies.” Venture through haunted and ominous Ghoulhaven Hall and battle it out with a variety of monsters, while trying to escape the many tricks, traps, and shocks along the way. There are no refunds for this item. For more information, see www.xbox.com/live/accounts.

If you’re at work or not able to access your Xbox 360 console, here is a direct link to the game on the Internet Marketplace. If you do pick up Grabbed by the Ghoulies, why not leave us a comment with your thoughts?
