Famitsu awards SSBB a perfect score

In the latest issue of the top selling Japanese magazine Famitsu, Super Smash Bros. Brawl got a perfect 40 out of 40.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is set to be released in Japan on January 24thand after being reviewed by Famitsu, it could well be up for GOTY in 2008. This latest installment to the series has achieved a perfect score by Famitsu of 40 which is calculated from the four reviewers giving their score out of 10. In the history of the Japanese gaming magazine only 6 other games have done in the past, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda:The Wind Waker, Soul Calibur, Vagrant Story, Nintendogs and Final Fantasy XII.

At the momenttheWii exclusivedoes not have a release date in the UK but we should expect to see it before the summer.
