A second beta for Evolve is coming to the Xbox One in January, the game’s publisher has announced.

2K Games revealed that the open beta, which starts on Thursday, January 15th, 2015, will give players the chance to try out the “Hunt” game mode, allowing gamers to play as two Monsters and eight Hunters all-in-all.

Two days after the launch, a second game mode will be introduced entitled “Evacuation”, in which players fight across the planet over a series of five rounds. The Evolve Xbox One beta comes to a conclusion on Monday, January 19th, 2014.

Meanwhile, a “smaller closed technical test” will take place on the PlayStation 4. According to the Q&A, the Big Alpha test is “limited in scope and will not include Evacuation or have Hunter and Monster unlocks carry over to Evolve’s launch”.

Further details about both betas, including how to get involved, are available on the Evolve website.
