From the people that bought us Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors comes – Dynasty Warriors 6. Today KOEI have announced that DY6 will be shipping to stores February 19th in North America for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Amos Ip, Senior Vice President at KOEI Corporation stated that;
“Dynasty Warriors 6 will deliver the massive scale battles that gamers have come to expect from the series, and will push the envelope of Tactical Action. Our goal is to redefine the Dynasty Warriors series. We’ve created more immersive environments where players can use the features of the battlefield to their advantage, larger armies with a presence and strategy befitting their superior numbers, and re-imagined characters with the most authentic kung-fu showcased in a way only KOEI can deliver. This is truly the next great chapter in the Dynasty Warriors saga.”

Taking place in Ancient China during the 3rd century, Dynasty Warriors 6 puts you in the boots of one of the biggest wars ever fought. Existing characters have been recreated and remodelled with exciting new moves and hard hitting weapons, if that wasn’t enough KOEI have invented a new lighting-fast combination system called ‘Renbu’ which helps you pull off faster and easier combo’s.
