Time for some demo news that has a little more weight to it this morning.

“It’s time to clean up the streets. It’s time for a Crackdown. Download the Crackdown demo today – featuring both single player and online cooperative play.”

Yes after a false start last week, the Crackdown demo has been given the green light today and is now available to download on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

The demo weighs in at 1.24Gb! So you’re best off starting that download soon or suffer the late crawling download speeds once everyone knows it’s online. The demo is available to all Xbox Live regions except Japan and Germany.

Download and have a ’Crack’ at it and let us know your thoughts on the demo in our comments below.
