Codemasters Xbox Event Report

Published On May 8, 2007 | By Anthony Barker | News

Last Friday we were lucky enough to be invited to attend Codemasters’ HQ where we could get our hands dirty on a few of their upcoming Xbox 360 titles. On the menu we have Sensible Soccer, Overlord and a firm favourite amung our readers – Colin McRae: Dirt. We sent our resident traveller, Barrie, over to the event and report back to us with his findings.

First up we have our Sensible Soccer Hands-On preview. The game is shaping up nicely and is looking like it will not disappoint old fans of the game. Head over to our Preview to read more. We have also uploaded two NEW screens from the enhanced version of the game which show off the dynamic Ad hoardings and player slide marks on the pitch.

When a goal is scored a ripple repels out from the goal!

Next up Barrie turns all evil on us with his Hands-On preview of Overlord. A title that was a little unknown and under the radar, well not any more as Barrie uncovers what the game is all about and comes over all RTS on us all. Make your way over our Preview by clicking here. Two new screenshots have been kindly given to us from Codemasters and these as well as twenty-five other screenshots can be found in our Media area for the game.

Overlord – Very evil! Demo coming very soon too!

Stay tuned for our Hands-On with the Colin McRae: Dirt along with more news and screens of these games very soon here on 360Monster. Excited? Yeah we are too!
