BK not to have motion controls

Published On July 10, 2008 | By Jeremy White | News

There have been rumors rolling around the net that Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts will feature motion controls with Microsoft’s supposed new motion controller, dare I say the X-mote (for clarity: this name is unofficial).

Rare’s George Kelion had this to say:

“There’s no truth to the Banjo motion control rumour. Banjo has been designed to be played using a gamepad from the outset.

People shouldn’t take rumours that gestate in comments sections so seriously. They can often turn out to be red herrings, as is the case with Banjo and motion controls.”

So is this the end of the discussion? Probably not. According to Kelion however, we shouldn’t be speculating over this any longer. What do you all think? Will this discussion crop back up in the future? Do you see an X-mote being used for this or any other future Xbox 360 game? Let us know.
