Bioshock takes Game of the Year

SpikeTV’s VGA (Video Game Awards) have come and gone rewarding Bioshock as Game of the Year along with fellow XBOX 360 games Halo 3 taking Best Multiplayer Game and the fan chosen Most Addictive Game awards. Mass Effect took the Best Role-Playing Game award but other exclusives won awards on the Wii and PS3 as well.

Super Mario Galaxy won Best Action Game and Best Wii Game awards whilst Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction won the award for the Best PlayStation 3 Game. Elsewhere, Bioshock missed out on the Best Graphics award to Crysis and the Nintendo DS game The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass won Best Handheld Game.
