A few details regarding Xbox Live Arcade release dates have arrived on the Console Monster desk today. The first of which is one we already knew about, Battlefield 1943, which has received the official confirmation from Microsoft that it will release on Wednesday – as previously stated, and has been officially priced at 1200 Microsoft Points.
Secondly comes a release date for The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, a game which we recently unveiled the achievements for. LucasArts confirmed via their Twitter that the game would be arriving on the Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday 15th July. No details of pricing were announced.
Last but not least, Band of Bugs downloadable content titled Tales of Kaloki will be releasing on Wednesday as confirmed by Major Nelson. The download content will add Avatar support, allowing “gamers the option of replacing the original story’s hero, Maal, with their custom Avatar as they play through the main story mode. Players will also be able to engage in hand-to-hand combat and spell casting in eight-player Spider Hunter mode. Spider Hunter, one of several multiplayer modes, allows players to battle with or against their friends over Xbox LIVE to survive an onslaught of deadly spiders, mosquitoes, centipedes and more.” No details of pricing were announced.
