Banjo fails to make Top 40

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts has failed to chart in the UK Top 40 this week. Despite the game being criticised by reviews both online and offline, it was still worthy enough to try and dent the chart but it has failed to do so.

The favourite for the Christmas number one slot, Call of Duty: World at War has entered straight at the top this week. It was going to be a very competitive week for games, with such a huge number of key releases out for all the consoles.

A worthy mention for geek’s favourite WOW: Wrath of the Lich King which saw the biggest ever UK launch and notched up second position in the charts this week. But we don’t want to dabble with geeks, so back to the consoles we know and love…

…Gears of War manages to hold off competition and falls to number 4 this week while Guitar Hero World Tour jumps to 6 after the release of the band pack on Friday.

It has being a strange week for the charts with games tumbling all over the place including another shock that Mirrors Edge only manages number 20. Oh well, for those who pre-ordered, you miss out on the Fenchurch t-shirt which I grabbed from my work thanks to those not turning up to collect a copy. Loosers.

Have a gander at the chart below and tell us if you were shocked this week!
