Another manufacturer to ease the pain

According to Larry Hyrb, aka Major Nelson, Microsoft will be pulling in another Third party manufacturer to “ease the availability pain” to quote the man himself.

Little else is known about it at the moment, apart from the fact that the company is called Celestica who, according to their website, are based throughout the world – however we are sure that they will be concentrating production in Asia.

Larry mentioned that they will be helping with the production from February. Let’s hope they actually sort out the problem and get enough 360’s out to the huge demand!

We’ve emailed Larry for more information, but we’ll have to see whether he gets time to reply!
