Alone in the Dark for PS3 delayed

Alone in the Dark for PS3 delayed

Published On June 1, 2008 | By Jeremy White | News

All PS3 owners who are eagerly anticipating Alone in the Dark will have to wait a little longer than other console owners to get their hands on this game.

Nour Polloni, a developer of Eden games, says that the game is “not performing as well on PS3 as we hope it is in terms of frame rate.”

Other games have come out with the PS3 getting the butt-end of the frame-rate deal and Polloni doesn’t want that to happen for Alone in the Dark:

“We didn’t want it to come out and have less of an experience for the PS3 gamer,” Polloni said. “We wanted to tweak that up and make sure they get the best experience on PS3 as much as possible.”

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be identical, but at this time there is no word on how far back the release for the PS3 version is going to be pushed. What do you all think? Let us know what you think about PS3’s dreaded frame rate problem and if it is the PS3’s problem or the developers.
