Remedy Entertainment has not given up hope on an Alan Wake sequel, the studio has revealed.

Speaking to Xbox Achievements at Gamescom 2014, Remedy Creative Director Sam Lake said: “We’re really, really proud of all the games we have made and obviously all of them are dear to us. They have a special place in our hearts.

“You never know about the future and as have we have said about Alan Wake, the sequel didn’t work out at this point. But definitely we are looking for opportunities to do more, someday, when the time is right.”

Alan Wake, which was first released in 2010, scored 90% in the Console Monster review, being described as ” a game you can miss out on”.

Remedy Entertainment are currently working on Quantum Break, which is expected to launch on the Xbox One in 2015.
