Joystiq recieved a tip that at the Digital Life Technology expo Microsoft was showing 2 versions of their Xbox 360. One with a 40GB hard drive and the other with an 80GB hard drive, both larger capacity then the standard 20GB one. Although there was no evidence, the tipster told Joystiq that during a presentation he saw that one 360 had 38GB of space left when navigating a ‘memory’ section.

It certanly wouldn’t surprise us if Microsoft do release 2 additional hard drives. But speaking out, Peter Moore said that they had no plans to release bigger hard drives.
