Selling up...

Did anyone sell there PS2 when they got there 360?

Was just wondering as im considering it...and how much you get for it?

I'll be putting mine on Ebay sometime in the next few months

I sold mine a couple of months before the 360 came out.

Got £70 for it, which I thought was pretty damn good.


And right now, it appears it is still going at around that price. Mine was just one with controller, and there's one with exactly the same currently at £78. One silver one with 2 controllers is over £100.

So, basically, SELL IT NOW.

It's worth well less than that, so make as much money as you can for it.

I have a half normal/half faulty one in original box in my cupboard. If someone offered me a fiver for one I would take it

Yeah, they go for quite a lot on eBay. Don't know why, actually.

In fact, forget the £15 I said... you can probably get £30. The top one on the list is at £21 with an hour or so to go, and the next one, which has a few hours, is at £18.

I'll buy it for a fiver? Then probably list it on eBay, but meh...

TBH really I cant be bothered to make the effort to put it on EBAY, and there is a better chance than not it will still be there when the PS9 is out

It'll almost certainly seel on Ebay...there's a few parts can be salvaged from them...mainly DVD laser and PSU but probably a few other bits.

Me....I never sell anything.

Have kept all consoles and games that I've been able to...so I have a decent collection but nothing too old, starting with PS1 and Saturn really as back in the Mega Drive Snes days and before I didn't have the choice to keep everything....no real amount of money or space to keep them back then.

Didn't sell it yet, but I probably will, the graphics just aren't top notch as they once were. Plus all I bought it for was to play Gran Tourismo and Tokyo Extreme Race, and now that TER is coming to 360 supposedly, i won't have a reason to keep it.

I would sell it, but I still have all 3 major GTAs I never beat.

Seems like a waste, especially since I have about 25 other games for it.

Edit: This is actually a good idea.....

My brother has been using my PS2 since his broke....I offered to sell him mine.

The rest of the games I have ( besides the GTA series), I will just turn in for small bucks at eb since they aren't that great.

i was the one hwo sold the ps2 which i sold to backin strachan for a very low price lol and it worked fine when i gave it to you ..........
ive still got mine because games are still going to be coming out for it and i just got swap magic for it so i dont need to buy anymore games anyway

I just bought PDZ for 360 on eBay for 29quid, Buy It Now - the seller must be silly.

Might put my PS2 on later this week, its just been bothered to do it, innit.
