Which one exactly did you prefer.
I HAD a DS (EBAY NOW) but sold it because of lack of games(regretful) but now that with XMAS money I am thinking about getting another handheld console. When I weigh it up DS wins but the PSP has Movie playback. DS 1.Mario Kart WIFI 2.Animal Crossing 3.Metroid Prime 4.Monkey Ball 5 And a very good FIFA 06 PSP 1.PRO EVO 5 2.GTA LCS 3.Rige Racer 6 4 Movie playback What should I be leaning for P.S Will get it in a few months so should have about 300-400 You mean where was I?...eh...canoeing. |

I have both, and I find the DS to have more fun games.
The PSP games are just PS2 ones ( which I was never a huge fan of ). I am currently playing GTA though, and think it's great, but it's not worth it to spend $250 just for that game. I'd go for the DS. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

I've never had any (so don't listen to me if you don't want
), but I would personally given the choice go for a PSP. Becuase more and better games come out for that, I think.

I used to have a Ds but as soon as i played on a psp i sold my ds and bought one. the only good thing abot ds's are mario kart. psp's are so much better, watching videos, playing songs, watching films. much better games well thats wot i think, things such as pro evo, gta, football manager. trust me dude psp's are the future. the future |

The PSP is a cracking bit of kit but I am not convinced that it is the future. Video and Music is a so-so feature since anyone interested in either has a much better equivalent. iPod has the music side sewn up nicely. At the moment the PSP does not really appeal to me. There is no "Must Have" title on it at all. Sure GTA is good but so last gen *laughs* Until the PSP comes up with some new stuff and less PS2 rehash games, it wont be in my collection.
I much prefer sitting down in front of my TV and playing games but that is just me ![]() It depends what you want from your new purchase. Addictive, different fun, and interactive games = DS PS2 Classics, Movies and Music = PSP p.s. Seal, I love your Sig...come on Sega where is out Next-Gen Live Virtua On game dammit!! DS, definatley, cheaper, games are cheaper, innotatvie (sp?), better games and more fun. Oh and free wifi =)
The games are much much better, and more fun to play really. PSP's games are just ports... DS is also stronger (ut can survive getting dropeed and flush down the toilet ) and it protects the screen.Get a DS To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. I will be RE-buying the DS mates!!! Made my decision on a variety of reasons.
1.Mario Kart Played it yesterday and it is amazing. The retro courses are class and I love the WIFI 2.Animal Crossing My favourite game on the cube and will probably keep it(DS version when I get it) forever! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 3.Quite a fan of the SNES and NES Mario games and as you might know you can get them on GBA which you can play on the DS 4.Its not going to burn a whole in my pocket 5. Am I really going to use the Movie Playback for the PSP? WELL... No Thanks for the advice but my mind is (so far) set on the DS Why did I ever doubt NINTY You mean where was I?...eh...canoeing. |

It's a more difficult procedure than playing with people you want on other games, though, sadly. It can be done, though. Which is nice. |

Well NiWiFi is atleast better than PS2 online, and who ever says DS is better apart from the exception of GTA:LCS is wrong. GTA on the psp has really bad framerates and the games is only like 10 hours long. There's multiplayer but its not online ... and yeah the gfx are good but the game suffers from framerate problems and its just gta 3 and added motorcycles plus the clothes from vice city, but worse.

Yeah, I'd probably have paid more attention to my DS in the past month or so if I hadn't had the unfortunate distraction that is a big shiney Xbox 360 Premium console sitting on the other side of the room.
![]() Even Mario Kart has been kind of underused. Bah, I'll make up for it eventually, though. |

Yeah, I love the old courses, especially the N64 ones.
Choco Mountain and Banshee Boardwalk are ultimate.
