You missed out Ecuador in Group A.

Also, England have a good group, but it's not as easy as is being made out. Paraguay and Sweden are both good teams.

Groups C and E are the strong ones, but I can see big upsets in both.

Australia against Japan, Croatia AND Brazil?!
Our team sucks so much it's just not funny...the only reason we got into the World Cup was because Uruguay were to ****y...or maybe it was a fluke...either way, Australia will lose in the first round, if not DEFINATELY the second.

EDIT: Oh come on! I can't even say c-ocky?

I think Croatia and Japan are beatable for you.

Brazil won't run riot like you think either. Scotland thought they were going to get whupped in 1998 and we only lost 2-1 to them. It's a lot more even at the World Cup than it usually would be.

You should get behind your team a bit more. Have a bit of confidnece in them.

We (England), should easily qualify form that group. We will beat T&T 3, maybe 4-0. And then we need to beat either Sweden or Paraguay and we're through. Seems easy enough to me.

I watched the draw tonight (was excited), but I really found it a bore. The groups are really, really sh*t in my opinion and there's nothing to play for. Brazil are too good, and they've got the easiest group.

This is some of the best grouping we've seen for years, and has the make-up of one of the best World Cups ever.

Sorry, I totally disagree. The groupings are an absolute shambles. Hell, it's supposed to be the worlds best, but the way they worked was ballsed up from the beginning. Only a certain about of groups allowed two teams to go through automatically, the rest was bollox. Sorry, but it really did disappoint me.

What are you on about?

Every group has two teams progress to the 2nd round automatically. If you mean European qualifiers it worked the way it has for a while now, first place automatically through along with the best two second placed teams, all other second placed teams into the playoffs.

Yeah, sorry about that, got a little confused.

But still, really disappointed with the groups.

You may as well just stick random numbers in for the FIFA ranking. Ah hang on...you did

England 9
USA 8?

Have a word

Right, whats the point in having a draw if tey don't do it proply. I mean, so and so can't go into group x because they are from so and so in the world, wtf?.

Why not just have 1 pot, with all the teams in, everyone has the chance to play everyone. This, imo, woud be more exciting, and fairer. Why didn't Ivory Coast go into England's Group, I didn't get it.

Was an absolute shambles how they did it, especially with the 'A4', G2', I mean, come on, thats ridiculous.

It was a stupid system, but I think the groups worked out fairly well.

Group C and E will be great, but I do agree that Germany and Brazil got groups which they're going to wander through without much effort at all.

It's going to be a good world cup the football standart is up all over the world, and the big teams they will have to run to win, this already happen last world cup, I'm from portugal and I remember it very good.

And I wish you luck killer 57, Mexico is a good team and they fight for the score is going to be a big game, Mexico - Portugal last game of the group and almost for sure just to find the first place of the group, if both play good are both to the knockout round.
But Angola have some good players and Iran they run a lot.
Oh is going to be fun!!!

England got a good draw there in my opinion, couldn't ask for anymore except to have not been drawn with Sweden again lol.

Group E is going to be the hardest in my opinion, Italy and Czech Republic are great teams and USA will have great difficulty trying to progress.

RiLu@, I think this is the year were going to make a deep run, we have alot of young talented players to go along with the veterans like Blanco and Burgetti.I'm worried about Angola and Iran because we seem to overlook small oppenents. we sweped USA but almost lost to trinidad & tobego.

It was the same with Portugal in 2002 we lost for USA and Korea but we had a good team, later it was on the newspapers that during the pre-worldcup training we had some internal problems.
But I really believe we have reasons to go long this time, I will try to buy some tickets, I was for the first time watching a cup game "European Cup" last year in Portugal, England - Croatia 4-2 was the final result, and it was great, all the people on the streets from many differents countrys.
Big time!!

Just depends on who hits form at the right time, for me it will be England, Brazil, Germany and Italy In the final four. (I'm just guessing that these 4 can reach the semi-finals but of course they could meet each other sooneer.) But really it's anyone's game.

Totally agree it was a pure joke.Bein from Scotland a wouldnt know much but that was a complete mess. The best 8 teams in seperate goups and then just draw the rest 1 by 1.

England a think should be a little worried, you wont beat Sweden they have 2 of the best strikers around Ibrahimovic and Larsson, the most experinced striker around. As for Paraguay they have a very decent all round team that play TOGETHER,Thats what I think your problem is. Anyway Good luck as I think you MIGHT need it.

You mean where was I?...eh...canoeing.

PORTUGAL, PORTUGAL, PORTUGAL...

To be honest I don’t think that we have difficult group, and whit the tools we Portugal have we have to past to the second round easy and as groups winner.
I would be a shame if we didn’t….

But there some cool matches in the first round that will make us soccer fans drool all over the place…..

England – Sweden
Argentina – the Netherlands
Italy – Czech
And all the 3 matches of the dream team Brazil that I am sure will win this world Cup

This are the country’s I think will pas to the next round….

Germany
Costa Rica
England
Sweden
Argentina
The Netherlands
Portugal
Angola
USA
Czech Republic
Brazil
Australia
France
Korea Republic
Spain
Ukraine
