I only wish...

I only wish that World of Warcraft was brought from PC to 360. If Final Fantasy XI can do it (and succeed) then Blizzard should do the same. I also wish that the games weren't so expensive. Its going to cost me $200 just for the 3 games I want.

World of Warcraft on the 360 would indeed be awesome, but it was built for the PC and should stay on the PC. It just wouldn't feel right on a console.

Hey, I'm as bummed out as you are with the cost of next-gen games, but as long as the game is up-to-par with the Xbox 360's capibilities and is fun, I'm all for the higher price tag.

Some consoles can't get PC games because on the PC you can do some 1000s of key combinations and on controllers most of the time you can't.

Exactly. How would World of Warcraft's innovative combat system work on a console with a joy pad? It simply wouldn't.

Easy fix, get a USB key board and hook it up to your 360. Thats what a bunch of FFXI players will end up doing, and alreay have done in beta tests for Xbox 360.

That generally defeats the purpose of the game on a console. If I wanted to play with a keyboard and mouse, I'd play the game on my computer. Then again, if my PC was a low-end machine and couldn't handle the graphics, I'd use the keyboard and mouse.

You couldnt do that, the keyboard would have to be programed with the console and the game would have to be coded to be compatible with a keyboard and mouse.

As a player of both games, i can clearly say that Final Fantasy XI has much more complicated system / controls, and its a way harder game overall.

And its well-playable with a gamepad, all you have to do is to setup your macros. You will be buying a Keyboard anyways, for chat.

Both are/would be nice additions to the xbox 360 titles available.
My biggest problem is not with the games, but with the hard drive, and microsoft marketplace. Teh marketplace is just another way for them to milk us gamers out of more money, for what we desreve at 60-70 bucks a game. I am not so bumbed out about the hard drive as i am about how i feel like im wasting my money. A console is basiclaly a computer in front of your tv, hell i could do that. Maybe its just me but next thing you know we will be buying new video cards and processors to upgrade our consoles.
