.:: 360Monster get togethers, anyone be up for it? ::.

Now before Steve and Russ get all jumpy and think I'm talking about us meeting together for no reason I will get the facts straight.

So some of us go to gaming conventions. IE Gamerstars
There's not many in the UK but there are some and there are more in the US.

Now I can't afford to go the the US but half the peeps on here live there.

So I was thinking when the next convention comes along we have a small get together there?

So when the next biggish event comes along post a thread about it and where it is and you can make some arrangements. Like "will meet at that place which sells the food... to eat"... I duno.

Would anyone be up for this. If no one is up for it that's kool. I personally would like to meet all my 360Monster team though. Well.... anyone living in the UK.

lol, OK so maybe this might not work. I'm a member of some tech forums but the forum members are all based in the UK so they have these "meets". There all abit to old though because they just get wasted. Damn I hate being 17.

Oh yeh being 17 is quite funny. Like when I tried to get into the Doom 3 booth @ Gamerstars and got told to go away.

I think this is a great idea and I would definitely go. This is like the only messageboard I post on which has great potential and was founded in England! Get togethers always seem to happen in America and I have always been left out, I'd love to come and play games with you lot all day. Thumbs up from me Toby.

It would only work in the UK though because there are only about 3 or 4 members from the US and we all live pretty far from each other.

Hmm, im only 15 so very much doubt i'd be able to go to US to meet some "online buddies". You know what parents are like, there all protective when your under 16 .

But if there was one in UK, im sure I could make an excuse to get down someway. As I think telling my Mum im off down the Chippy then jetting off to the US would be pretty unrealistic

I have always wanted to go to the UK The money isnt really a problem, I might consider it. That would be crazy though, a 16yr old going to europe to meet some people from an online message board, I might not comeback alive

Does gamerstars allow 12 years olds? Man, don't know if any of you knew that, I'm 12. lol.
kinda gay sometimes on live, half of the people go "OMG you ****ing 12 years olds i hate you!" But I still wanna have fun and stuff. The half are all cool. But remember, my bro also plays Xbox Live and he's 16, lol so don't get confused.

what is this gamestars you speak of?

Its in the UK @ London.

Its the UKs biggest gaming event where publishers can show off there games.

But its mainly about the UKs greatest gamer. Something which I forgot to enter last time.

Gamestars no longer exists mate. AFAIK The only UK even this year now is Games Market Europe and thats open to trade only (us staff).

I might try and goto E3 this year, better start saving money now!

Darn. I know it was canceled this year but I didn't think it no longer existed. Oh well.

If there's an event in the UK and people show interest from here then I'll certainly show up.

Well so far SonicSix quite a lot of people have shown interest, so now it's just up to Toby to arrange a date and place.

Well.... we will just have to wait till the next event comes along.....

Dont worry, next year we will get something arranged. We'll also get a few developers and publishers down. I think Ubisoft may allow us to borrow the FragDolls for a day or two

Haha the FragDolls. I think I saw them in a magazine I read once, they went around the UK playing gamers and kicking ass! And yes, they are quite hot lol.

It rarely gets under 40 here in southern California, so I couldnt imagin going to norway or some place thats really cold.
