Massive Madden fan!!!

I love Madden games and having played on this on the original Xbox, I will defintealy be buying this for the 360!

Its improved loads since '05 and will be EVEN BETTER on the 360 than the normal Xbox!!!

Anyone else buying this?

As long as it's not the complete disaster that it's been on the PSP.

i.e unplayable due to crashing with a workaround that does not work as the final solution.

2K series from Visual Concepts is a twenty times better than Madden. Animation-wise, graphics, playbook, realism, all the bases.

I personally don't like th2K series. I mean, I am only an Amateur A.Football player and have never took an interset in the Sport until the game. And for me, the easiest one to pick up and play on straight away is Madden (Ask Madden button always helps ). Though, soon, I may be willing to give the 2K series another shot.

Oh yeah good point. That Ask Madden button is a good feature, but there is nothing more satisfying then calling out a series of plays and having them all work out.

Also it drives me crazy becasue Madden introduced the 'cone' this year so that quarterbacks can't throw off their back foot to the left and bomb 60 yards. But this feature was already built in on the 2K series in the animations.

But meh, I am still bitter becasue of the exclusive rights, don't mind me.

AND - Donovan McNabb is on the cover of Madden - which is always a bonus

Its the Madden curse, every cover athlete has had a terrible year. Case and point the Eagles lost to my Dallas Cowboys yesterday

Eagles won't lose many more, is T.O still playing for them?

Madden games are fun but I wont go out and buy one every year. I buy one every 2-3 years.

I love Madden games.

Hopefully once business picks up on this site we can use this thread to arrange online games against each other.

I've never really properly competed at Madden before. I've got a few mates who will play Madden games occasionally, but I'm always far too good for them, seeing as I love the franchise mode and usually get about 10 seasons out of it before getting bored.

Would be fun to compete against people who can actually play the game.

I think the Giants defence might be a "wee" bit worse in it than last year

Defence might be, but I'd say the offense should have improved a bit to make up for it.

Definitely not so bad at all now, he's really turning into a clutch player, the Denver game was a surprise to me, honestly didnt think we'd win that one, 4-2 looks a lot better than 3-3

The Eagles have declined since last year, whereas the 3 other teams have all improved, so it's very, very even. Which is great.

Last weeks game was a real sucker, a missed 26 yard field goal = one fired kicker.

Yeah, a bit rubbish for Cortez. I thought he was ok - better than some of the kickers around, anyway. Had racked up a fair amount of points for them. 49 before this weekend, I think it was - in the top 5 in the league.

Anyway, yeah, I hope the Cowboys do take the East, but I've got a feeling Philly will take it again this year, albeit with a lesser margin of victory.

Well the telling stat for Jose 'Baby' Cortez was that he was only something like 3/6 from 40+ yards and if you can't have a kicker that can consistently go from that distance he deserved to be punted.

Hmm, didn't know he had that bad a record. Assumed that due to a high points total that he was doing well. Apparently not.

Wonder if he'd converted all of them what his points total would have been. Still probably about half of Neil Rackers', I guess. 20 FGs made in the first 6 games? The season record is 39, so he's well on his way to doubling it.
