How to get an XBOX360

I reserved my xbox360 in august then got a call from Gamestop saying ill half to wait until early 2006! I tried going to other stores but they were already sold out! Can anyone give me some tips on how I can get my hand on one. I live in america.

did gamestop tell you that you were going to have to wait that long or are you just going by what people have been saying?

gamestop told me that

thats a problem, were are you on the list because im #18 and they told me that I should get mine by friday and that they are going to get weekly shipments, and was it the manager who told you that?

they told me that i would get mine in early jan.

EB Games? Circuit City?

ok do u have a huge dad. if u do go down and scare the living **** out off them thats how my friend did it. or u could be at our lunch table were we sold 1 for 600$

EB games and circut city is sold out. plus my dad doesn't get scared that easily

Break into someone's house, rape and murder them and then make off with the 360. Sure, the rape and murder isn't essential... but might as well have some fun whilst you're at it, right?

On a more serious note... I've never understood why anybody would want to buy a console at or just after their initial release. At this time, I always figured they were overpriced and had a relatively naff selection of games.

of course they will they whant to get more shipments out for the holiday buying season which doesnt start till this friday, its the whole point of launching during this time. also you should keep your pre-order just in case that guy didnt know what he was talkibg about.

I think im just goin to get it at best buy b/c i know some guys who work their. Im pretty sure they can hold on one for me. Oh well guess ill half to wait another week.

i think i might just get it at amazon when they get more in stock

Does any1 know which site would get XBOX 360's in stock the soonest? Your help will be greatly appreciated.
