Default PC: Need For Speed: Most Wanted Demo

Just recently checked this demo out, i've been a fallower of the N4S series since the first one on the 3DO console (WAY back!) With the likes of the Underground series which I thought was a bit 'OK' I was a little interested to see what they would come up with this new version.

Downloaded the demo and I must say, I am impressed. Nice sound and feel to the cars and a slight overall on the graphics to make them look more natural makes racing your nuts off much more of a joy to see.

Loving the pursuit modes, something about the escapism of running away from the cops appeals. Flash backs of ChaseHQ all over again.

Runs fairly well on my rig too, I recommend it big time if you dont mind the large download (500+Mb) and your into the series. Better than the Toca3 demo that was a bit of a let down.

Yeah, I downloaded too. It's a decent game, however the thing I notice most about Most Wanted, is the updated graphics engine. I think the emulation of Burnout 3 and Revenge really show here, and the sense of speed is definitely present.

Pursuit mode is cool too. Reminicent of the Hot Pursuit days, indeed!

Runs well on my PC too. Radeon 9600XT 256MB is a big sluggish these days, though, and I'm noticing that 1GB RAM isn't as helpful with today's games.

Good post, biglime.

Another good DL spot,

Like I said in the other thread, I have played this game (demo) and I loved it. In fact, jus talking about it makes me want to launch it and play it...which I am about to do now =)
