How the hell can they keep it coming to the US and Japan if there's a "problem" with Blu-Ray?

I think they might need to rephrase that into shortage.

Although I wasn't going to get it, I'm disappointed that PS fans (like my Brother) won't be able to get there hands on there Next_gen Console.

I assume this will lead to an increase in hardcore European fans importing it from the US or Japan. It's assume that they have had such disregard for European gamers that they are only delaying us.

Xbox/Microsoft should jump on this and try and secure the european market while it can. Do more Xbox 360 + Football Games promotions and they could see a very big jump in sales.

man i really do hate big corparations that do this kinda thing, "we havent got enough for all 3 teratories" "well lets just drop europe, its the smallest market"

i didnt mind sony before, but now i do hate them.

oh and by the way this IS the last nail in the coffin for the PS3

I am dissapointed with this news. Many people have been promising their children a PS3 for x-mas and now they wont be able to get it. It looks like this x-mas could be a 360 one, which MS will be happy about. Yet again Europe gets dumped on by a great height. No matter, at least the Wii and 360 will be out with some great games as well.

Seems like Gears of War will have a pretty easy time of it this x-mas then.

I have a bad feeling the WII will go the same way. Please let me be wrong.

That's what they will do...expect a few releases out first again across Europe and poss a price drop at crimbo, or a package with Viva Pinta for the kids at a decent price.

Im more than happy (apart from them breaking) with xbox/360 and havent had a playstaion 1 or 2 for sometime and prob never buy a ps3.

With Pro-Evo and Fifa 07 exc for a year to 360 - expect a lot of sales this November. The people who have pre-ordered a ps3 at a wopping £150 can use it towards a 360.

When it comes I have a feeling it will come with a bang. Sony are going to bring out a couple of supprises I think.

worried? are you mad?
its been delayed 4 months.
its gonna cost £500.
the 360 will have had its next batch of great next gen games.
the wii would have sold like mad.
the 360 would have sold alot more.
halo 3 might even lurk out in march.
bluray couldve failed by then.
the 360's HD-DVD will have sold some and people who already got that dont need no bluray.
people are gonna be ... annoyed at sony for delaying.
more than likely another small price drop for the 360.
you could get a wii60 for xmas for the same price as a PS3.

What a surprise, non-US/JAP people getting robbed even more, amazing it takes 4 months to work on the PAL version, or better yet, why bother? release the one console, who cares if we buy NTSC games.

Us Europeans are always being ripped off and it's pissing me off, I bet the US/Japs get their games cheaper and the console will most likely be cheap too plus they get it 4 months early, bloody disgrace.

But this way hopefully they can iron out any glitches before european release? Looking on the bright side.

Heh heh, but remember all the trouble with 360s in its first few months? This is gonna make that look like the smoothest launch ever!

nah ill just bebuying the core parts i alreadygot my cd drives and hard drives

I read about this on another site and this sort of thing has really got me big time as I wad going to get a pre order in soon and now I might as well not bother.

Whether you like to admit it or not the Xbox 360 was a succesful launch. Trouble with Xbox 360s? Granted a small minority have had trouble with there Xbox 360s but not the large proportion.

Also if it launches in US and JApan and they have problems it's not as if we won't hear about it here. It would be worse for Sony as the news will travel and the public will be put off.

Yeah...but it still released in Japan/USA same time so why is it delayed for Europe and the rest who use PAL. They arent going to release a better console in PAL regions..its proberly something to do with our PAL and 50hz not working with Blu-Ray / HD.

Not worried as i wasnt getting one. Ninty will press for the xmas lauch aswell now. Sony have now just shot themselves in the foot.

PAL is 60Hz. PLus When using anything high def the Hz are at a standard set by HD. No regions.

PS3 is screwed, Sony have just missed another christmas and now all the little kids with rich parents are gonna buy them a 360.
